Great news, Chrys. Look forward to the new book.
I remember the call, but don't have anything to contribute, also not having the Tieste catalogues doesn't help when trying to ID what you were looking for.

Complete set of Tag der Wehrmacht 'knots'. We will be clearing up the Tag der Wehrmacht confusion in this next book.
Hey guys,
I just got this in a few minutes ago. I collect photos of WHW items in wear...they are tough to find but that is what makes it fun!
This one features a small child playing with his car. The Kriegsmarine Sailor piece from the 'Porcelain Soldiers of the Wehrmacht' series that was sold on the 5th & 6th of March 1938 can be seen on his chest. The back of the postcard sized picture is dated 'Marz 1938'.
This piece can be seen on page 38 of our book 'Winterhilfswerk...National Street/House Collections & More...'.
Great post. Poignant photo. Very interesting.
Great pic Chrys love to see them in use

Cool Banana's Chrys an excellent photo mate.
Could you if possible post some other examples of WHW "in wear" as it's a most interesting subject IMO.
Cheers mate.
No problem Dave! I have some I can share...always hesitant to do this because of the copying issue but I actually have my images copyrighted now (legally I might add)!
I'll get them up over the next few days....
Cheers Chrys,Looking forward to seeing some mate.If you have issues with posting your images that's OK I do understand,It's not the world it used to be sadly.
Have a good one cobber

I saw this posted in your 'lot' of items in another thread...thanks for posting it over here!
The name of your tinnie is "Wochen-Sammlung der HJ" and it was sold from the 14th -20th of November 1933 in Gau 08 Halle-Merseburg. It is Tieste catalog # 08 002.
It is scarce...I sold one on our website a month or so ago for $20.00.
Thanks for sharing!
Chrys
