Default Wolfsangel- Possible NSB (Dutch) WA pin? Or something else? Or a fake?

    Hello all,

I call upon your knowledge to perhaps give me some clarification about what this pin is.
It features a wolfsangel, that much I know. But I wonder whether it's authentic and if so what it possibly could be.

I've found a similar pin on the web, see the third pic. Which supposedly was a NSB insignia (Dutch National Socialism party) from the WA (brawler division). It does look very similar in its design, though the fastening mechanism is different and it's a bit larger (~4cm in length). The way the pin works I suspect it might be meant to be worn horizontally. The 34th (Dutch) SS division apparently wore something similar which seems to be more correct in size.

Anyway, lot of suspicions but no definitive answer. Hell, it might even be a cheap tin copy made somewhere in the Eastern Block. I wouldn't be able to tell.

Worse case scenario you could wear it as a collar piece and not like anyone would actually know what it is.

Shame, though not entirely unexpected. Could you perhaps expand on why you think it might be a copy? Not being skeptical, merely seeking knowledge.

    I know. Which is sufficient.

No sharp lines of the structure out of focus on the front and back.
    It seems a molded piece.
