Hello, Was this piece manufactured by BEVO ? I read that the partnership BE -Beteiligung and merging VO- Versteher of Lucas Vorsteher and Ewald Vorsteher from Wuppertal-Barman was the firm BEVO and thus is sometimes if not always marked in such a way to distinguish itself from others ? So without the makers mark you may be looking at a item that is not BEVO related, and could have been made by any Co. at any time, These are JMO ( just my observations / opinion )

Sorry, but the "Beteiligung Vorsteher" interpretation of BEVO is incorrect, although it keeps popping up in English-language secondary literature and forums.

In fact, the word "Beteiligung" in front of a company name makes no sense in German whatsoever.

The registered trademark BEVO stands for "Bandfabrik Ewald Vorsteher" (as seen in the ad in the last post).
