you have seen the SS-Buckle, here is the second buckle of today!
Postschutz, made of Steel! IMO very rare, 95% of paint still on it

Max, nice buckle, the catch looks very similar to late war Assmann ones, do you think Assmann could be the maker?

Yes, I tend also to Assmann. It seems that the prongs are bent wich is quite typical for Assmann buckles.
