Hi Ben i don't know the Marker . Prongs can be similar to Overhoff and Catch can be similar to Berg & Nolte , but is a big question !?

My initial thought was Berge & Nolte due to the catch, I am sure David will let us know when he sees this thread, Adam might even have seen other examples like these

Indeed a good looking "Front Heil" buckle and I think that these one piece brass examples are eagerly sought after. One piece brass of course and when produced, the two common features of a "gilded" type finish and striations to the reverse box.

I think that we have a few examples of this buckle on our superb data base.

As to who the manufacturer could have been, frankly I have no idea.

This Stahlhelmbund buckle appears to have constant obverse features. It is however found with differing types of wide paddle feet catches and pin shroud/claw arrangements.

    Regards,

    David
