i just found this digging around the internet, and wow $375, is the nsbo really worth that much?
NSBO Buckle

Your NSBO buckle is a common pattern so $375 seems high. It would need to be a rarer pattern to be worth $375.

Kirby is right. I was thinking the NSBO might be closer to $250. The army buckle is worth perhaps $85 and I would think the Fire/police buckle would command about $200 (it's in nice shape with lots of burnish on it).
Just my 0.02cents on these.
Cheers!
Rob
Wow, no idea these were that valuable.
The army buckle is the one with the leather strap correct?
Thanks,
Dave
Hi Dave, yes that is correct, the Heer (Army) buckle is the one with the leather support tab, the Fire Police buckle is by Richard Seiper & Sohne. Do you have better pics of the makers mark on the support tab?
Ben
Thanks for the help guys, I'm glad I got these appraisals before I almost traded the NSBO buckle for a $50 coin. The guy tried to rip me off apparently. Now the idiot is calling me a "scammer" and trying to get me banned from the forums because I backed out of the deal.
Much appreciated,
cheers!

Ben, the support tab says "Noelle&" ...i cant read what it says after that. It also has the date 1940 on it.
Dave, that will be Noelle & Hueck, Ludenscheid
