Nice one for the German Gymnastics Association. Would love to see a better photograph for the marking,
which looks like and L&W, with a sort of roof upon the both letters. Can't remember ever having seen this one.

The marking could stand for Lohmann & Welschehold from Meinerzhagen, as this concern is listed in 1933
(amongst 32 others) as a manufacturer for buckles for the organization! It was specifically said in the publication
that others, then the ones listed, were officially not allowed to produce this type of buckle (Deutsche Sportartikel-Zeitung,
nr. 13 from 1933, page 8).

The note says literally: Es wird ausdrücklich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass nur die hier veröffentlichten Hersteller
amtlich zugelassen und berechtigt sind, die Teile der Gleichtracht der DT herzustellen und abzugeben. The note was from
the Geschäftsstelle (the office for the association).
