Turnverein Buckles

While looking for a buckle to photograph for another post, I ran across these two Turnverein buckles. The "plain" one is marked: D.R.G.M. and what looks to be "IDEB" in script. The fancy one has no markings that I can find. The chrome is coming off of the fancy one.

Anyway, thought they might be interesting to show.

Hi Glenn, thanks for showing these, I find these buckles very under rated, you get some of the very early makers marks on these buckles and you have two class examples there

I have a couple examples like that shown on the right....but I really like the example on the left. You can't find buckles like that! Very nice!

I had to look at the chrome, fancy one twice before I figured out what it was when I purchased it. I thought it would make a nice addition.
