First gold finished steel R S &S I have ever seen. Is it painted or guilded? I have a Costal Artillery green steel R S & S with a KM marked tab.

Never seen a Seiper buckle in gold with this model type, here is a green one with that eagle. The gold looks gilt if anything, bit of a bizarre buckle really?
