I presume its a nickel buckle Max? I think its a Weimer era buckle. Is is nickel over brass? Also look at the end of the prongs, could be an Assmann made buckle

I think this is not a Weimar or Third Reich buckle. It does not meet the design-standards for one as such.

A likeweise buckle is in a post-war catalogue/leaflet from Overhoff and so looks the shown buckle with post
1 (article-number 0531, 45mm). The same buckle also exists with a pebbled surface! Sorry, have no better
picture from the cataloque/leaflet.

Is there a dot in front of Gott? If so, no TR or Weimar!
As far as I have researched and found out, during the TR-period a dot was to be found at 6 o'clock!
