    Default Sternmotor Buckle

This one arrived last week straight from Page 95 of Angolia's 2nd edition.

Whilst being listed as 'over- stamped' the eagle and emblem are, if still there, obscured by the sunwheel plate
that has been fixed over them.

The buckle has been subjected to a lot more damp than is evident in Angolia's image and is quite pitted although
    uniformly so.
Overhoff's logo is in a lozenge by the catch.

    Best to all

Somewhere at this forum there is a part of a leaflet from
Overhoff from post war where this buckle is being shown!

As Wim has stated, re stamped post war for peacetime use, post war recycling!

I'm sure i've seen that design described as a police buckle.

Yes, that is often said, but it is a buckle for general use (Neutral).
That is also what they told me when I visited Overhoff (see one
of the post war leaflets I have).
