The stitching is certainly new. I don't think these would have been produced then anyway?

The leather is artificially aged, I'm 100% on that, a Canadian web-site were selling these leather tabs a few years back

I dont like it, WW2 tab on a WW1 buckle, metal too dark stitching looks too dark, if you go any further get better pics, especially of the rear!

Looks like the tab has been added to increase the value of the buckle, the dark cotton could be original but strange that there is a Prussian buckle with Dransfled 1938 tab!!!
