Double Eagle Sword
Here is a rare III Reich Heer sword although no maker mark it is attributed to Emil Voos,Solingen -The unique thing about this rare sword is that it has a spread wing eagle on the cross guard and a Heer down wing eagle on the knuckle guard. The rest of the sword.i.e.blade, scabbard etc are in the same condition as the handle-Outstanding.

Very nice piece Horst. It looks like it still has all of its gold wash intact and the grip wires look like the day it was purchased... I love the double eagles too! Is it safe to assume that the blade is minty and looks like a mirror?

As I noted in my original posting it is pristine from top to bottom - will take a few pictures as soon as my camera is loaded.

There are a few more that have this kind of 2 eagle config, like the Prinz Eugen, but i have seen a few more.
These swords are very desirable, i love it!
Outstanding quality and a beautifull design, what more can you ask for!
