About six months ago I found this sword in its sheath in a shed while moving. While my research has given me some idea as to what the model and value would be for this sword, I haven't had any luck pinpointing the exact model, I hope somebody here can help?

Hopefully all will go well with the images, and I can take more if necessary.

Hi, and welcome to the forum! What a nice thing to find in a shed. It certainly beats rusty old gardening tools.

Part of the "Fieldmarshall Series" of swords by them.

    Nr. 1706 “SCHARNHORST”
    Nr. 1710 “BLÜCHER”
    Nr. 1714 “VON STEIN”
    Nr. 1716 “ROON”
    Nr. 1734 “ZIETEN”
    Nr. 1735 “DERFFLINGER”
    Nr. 1765 “PRINZ EUGEN”
    Nr. 1767 “LÜTZOW”
