I just received the catalog from my fellow teacher buddy. It is in great shape, and certainly looks period. The staples holding it together are rusty, and there are lots of area of age toning on the pages. I will take better pictures when I return home after track practice.

A student just called me out for smelling the catalog...

I have what could be a dumb question about the blacklight test...

Do I hold the catalog under the black light... and glow = bad, no glow= good? OR Do I have to look for anything in particular?

The catalog passed the glow test! Kind of hard to see from this low quality cell phone shots. I put a piece of white printer paper along side the title page and had to hold my shoe up to show how they glow, but the catalog doesn't.
