Help!!! e. pack & söhne solingen sword with DKIG/Brotherhood of Snake ornamentation

Thank you to all for your honest input. It helps me to really understand more about this sword. It is unfortunate if these embellishments were added on after the years, though from the pictures and what I have seen, it is not original. It's not a fake, but from what I understand, devalued because of these embellishments. I always thought they were original (though they are real), just not intentional in the production of the sword. Whoever did it in the past probably didn't understand. Oh well...
