Hi Antonio, You have a very nice sword with a generic style langet featuring lances and sabres. The langet is often associated with Imperial Uhlan (lancer) units but was probably also carried by Imperial cavalry units too. The style of the blade looks decidedly TR and certainly the generic Imperial style langets for Lancer, Cavalry and Artillery troops were carried forward into TR production and wear. The suspension ring, mobile on your sword, and the retaining bar on the reverse of the scabbard are both common to TR swords. The only uncommon feature, at least to me, is the use of a jawless lion head? A common feature on Imperial mounted troops sabres but not so common on TR blades which usually feature a full jawed lion head. The sword is a of standard pattern Army officer type and modeled on the GB 1796 and Imperial Blucher light cavalry sabres. Some SS, Police and Customs officers etc carried this general style of sword. The style is very common in general terms but with some specific patterns being scarce to extremely rare.
Hope this is of interest to you.
Regards and best wishes Michael R
