Article about: Just got this sword in a huge collection of ww1 / ww2 items. Please let me know what you think. No scabbard with this one. Nice engraving all over the blade. Real or Fake.

    Interesting! I've never seen one like this. It's a shame about the missing piece on the grip. Is there a maker mark/logo on the ricasso?

    Eickhorn Field Marshall series, "Prinz Eugen". Rare to find with an etched blade.

    Prinz Eugene Field Marshall Series 1765. Tom Johnson has one on his website for 1595.00 on sale on consignment. Eickhorn is the maker on his as well. Have not seen an etched blade on these in my travels but looks okay. Etched blade looks to be period to me. Is it the lighting or does the recesses of the blade have a gold wash to them?
