As much as I hate people tampering with original stuff, it clearly had to be done here and it was done professionally with great skill. Absolutely great work!

Very nice work indeed. The task was likely made easier
having all of the original parts at hand to begin with.
Ingenious way of re-tipping the sword.........

Just an observation. If you aren't female I would change your name. Has a lot to do with English slang friend.
Now, you do very good metal work buddy. Did you solder the brass or braze it ? Did you temper the steel in the blade after your weld ?? or was it worth the bother ?
