14. Sword 80 by Carl Eickhorn, CE. Applied Military Eagle. The eagle is not contemporary with the sword and appears to be of naval origin. Possibly the property of a Naval artilleryman who has effected the modification of his sword or just an enhancement to help sell the item?? Shown as a curiosity and a matter of interest.

16. Sword 41 by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. WK&C WKC. Military Eagle. This particular pattern sword is very unusual as it has an applied Military Eagle on the obverse langet rather than the standard style. It is unusual but very attractive.
