Michael an amazing collection! I don't know sod all about swords but I have just spent the last half an hour reading this thread..very interesting... & thanks for showing...Also you ain't a million miles from where I live about 25 minutes drive....So hopefully our paths might cross??? Cheers Terry.

Yes, the lion head is definately spoken -- Eickhorn?? One thing is for sure, Your English is a damm sight better than my Dutch!!!
