What Is This !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.German engraved sword. Both sides of the blade are engraved with a decorative panel with leaves and berries, along with the motto "In Treue Fest", which loosly translates to "In Steadfast Loyalty". Blade is overall excellent. Grip has very nice celluloid and wire, metal parts have oxidation on the backstrap and knuckleguard. Has 2 bufferpads. The sword is unmarked, not sure of the maker. Scabbard paint is about 80%-85%, but does show wear. Blade is about 32" long. Is it worth anything. Click on photo's to enlarge.

nice sword,,,dont know if there is much to do about the oxidation you mentioned,,maybe someone here knows if its worth the effort to remove it...
