Not seen an adler like that before.
That sure does not look like Eickhorn quality. Maybe EEEEEEKHORN. Is it really marked as an Eickhorn???? Somebody needs to fill a lawsuit for defamation of Character!!!!!

What's weird is that the rest of the sword seems pretty great aside from that hideous eagle and those ridiculous acorns.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Hi Naptime,
I agree the acorns are odd on that cross guard. Odd that a pristine maker would do something so ugly. I think a rare prototype was being forged by a drunken plant Eickhorn production manager....EhCorn? Add a few more EhCorns cuz we are Eickhorn....Sorry. Just trying to keep up with MAP, AzPhil and Gunny.
Seriously though I struggle with this one. Who is the best resident sword dude on here? I know barely enough to say I have never seen this one in any of the reference books by Eickhorn.

I have seen worse! Looks like a time periode construction to me.
Can't speak for the engraving's, they might have been made later on....

I wouldn't go saying this is fake, but I'm not expert and have only one Eickhorn, here's my eagle to show
Swords are a different puppy as compared to daggers etc.
