Took some updated pictures of this today. Reverse langet features professionally engraved five line dedication: "Ihrem lb, Chormaster, Die Chor -, vereinigung, Baiersdorf". Rossi mate, you don't buy rubbish. Another sword worthy of a book; gilt in perfect condition, a presentation sword to a choirmaster probably called up into active service, blade, grip and scabbard all very clean. One interesting area is it appears someone had tried to obliterate the swastika, perhaps at the end of the war. Did the choirmaster ever come home?
