Default Kriegsmarine 2nd model Hubertus etched damascus miniature post war

Hi, I picked this up a couple days ago. From what I've researched on this site, I think it's probably a fake. The pommel eagle looks funny with a lack of detail, the handle looks like a wire wrap was never put on, and I haven't seen any pommels that have anchors instead of swastikas. The blade is nice, in my opinion. It looks like damascus steel, and its made by Hubertus from Solingen. Has anyone seen one of these that can share some information? I'd really appreciate it if anyone can confirm its origins/authenticity. Thanks in advance!

This dagger is not fake, it is merely a post war representation.
Hubertus still make quality items. I believe it is likely etched Damascus.

Well there are Damascus blades , and then there are blades etched to look like Damascus .
It's still just lip stick on a pig . And if it was sold as a TR dagger , it was sold as a fake .

All of these comments are correct.
But if just sold as a dagger, it is not a fake.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I really appreciate the input. I'm totally fine with it being a postwar production. Honestly, I bought the dagger simply based on the fact that it looked cool and I wanted it. It's definitely not damascus steel based on the aforementioned photo and others I've found online. It looks to have been etched to mimic it, but it still looks neat, in my opinion. I was secretly hoping it was WW2 but now that it's confirmed that it isn't, that's fine too. Thanks!
