Here's another Alcoso with hammered scabbard. This time with a beautiful orange grip. Typical for Alcoso are the hammered scabbard rings they used on all hammered scabbards. Again, like all previously shown Alcoso navies, it has the typical diamond shape at the back of the crossguard.

The last Alcoso navy dagger that I show is probably the rarest piece I own. The scabbard is just fantastic. When you hold this one in hand it's hard to stop looking at it. I will let the pictures do the talking

The next navy I would like to show is produced by Höller. Höller only used the "springy" gripwire on their grips. Also very typical for this maker are the "straight" edges of the scabbard bands. The pommel is a typical Höller product. Very different from any other maker.

The next one is a non-maker marked etched piece with an orange grip. A very rare combination. Almost every navy dagger is maker marked or stamped with the name of the distributor. The gilding is almost perfect, as is the blade.

I will start with my Eickhorn pieces now. Together with WKC, this firm was by far the biggest producer of navy daggers in the TR period. The first one I show has a beautiful Ivory grip. It has the late Eickhorn "over the shoulder" trademark. The scabbard is a WKC scabbard which is not uncommon to see on late war pieces. It is known that at the end of the war even the big firms bought parts from each other.

That will be the last one for now but I've got a few more to show I have to take more pictures first.

The next one is actually a special one. It's the first kriegsmarine dagger I ever bought! You could say that this one started my navy addiction Maybe I should throw it out the window and the addiction will stop LOL It has a nice stamped mid-period trademark and the earlier style scabbard bands. The blade is just great.
