It's a shame because your collection framed would be quite a sight!
Trouble is, how much room can you leave for the additions that will inevitably come along......?
I have the same situation with my Mutterkreuz but my Minesweepers will have a definite cut off point. Unfortunately I haven't decided what point that will be......
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Dear Andreas
Your collection is unique ! Its even better detailed and large from a museum collection !
A great assistance for collectors like us who just make the first steps as militaria item collectors.
Congratulations for your free time the courage and the money you spend till now.
It would be grate if one day you could make a picture (even from distance) including all your items.
Just to have an idea of the size of your collection with one shot !
A few more acquisitions with which I am quite pleased, all of the Hinterbliebenen class.
First, a full-size cross which the recipient has mounted for wear in a very simple manner:
And here are three different buttonhole ribbons for civilian wear. Two are mounted as ribbon bows [Bandschleifen] and one is a rather small (14 mm wide) ribbon roll [Bandrolle]
Excellent additions Andreas !

Indeed. And excellent macro photos depicting every little detail.
Looks like you are using a source of light too, instead of the camera's flash, right?

Thanks, Chris!
No flash, but no artificial light source either; it's really just natural late-afternoon ambient light. I always take these photographs with the items placed on the back cover of a linen-bound book laid down on a windowsill. The camera is a 7.1 Megapixel Pentax M30 digital cam.
More... Yet another Kriegsteilnehmer cross, yet another mounting style (with quite a substantial reverse set-up), yet another manufacturer (KM&F):
Some more civilian-wear "lapel" versions. First, a "group photo" with some scale reference:
Here is a 3-place Bandschleife (ribbon bow) representing the Prussian Kreuz für Kriegshilfsdienst, the Frontkämpfer cross and a Red Cross- or Volkspflege medal/-decoration:
A small Kriegsteilnehmer cross Bandrolle (ribbon roll) of identical construction to the one seen in post # 95:
A very simple mounting style, with miniature ribbons folded and sewn into flat loops and fitted with safety pins. Top, a Frontkämpfer and a Kriegsteilnehmer cross and bottom, a 1914 EK2/Kriegsteilnehmer cross combination:
Excellent little additions freund
