25 Yr Service Medal...?
This is the very first piece of militaria that I ever purchased. I had done zero research on collecting militaria at that point and believed the guy I bought it from, which was at a gun show. It appears to be a 25 year faithful service medal, at least that what I've seen them referred to on a few different sites.
My interests shifted pretty quick and I spend a lot of time researching helmets now, so I still don't know a lot about this medal.
I thought I would share these pics.
It is a civil award for 25 years of service...The reverse, "Fur Treue Dienste" translates to "For Loyal Services"...Sadly, this one has seen better days...
