Here is a Treue Deinste in der Wehrmacht medal my grandpa brought back from the war. I have never seen this color ribbon on this medal before. Anyone have a clue? Im still building my reference library.

The medal and ribbon both look good. They don't belong together, I think the ribbon is for the Ostvolk 2nd Klasse.
You could leave them as they are being as your Grandpa brought them back this way or obtain the correct medal/ribbon and put them right.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
That was my thought but I dont know why someone would put the wrong ribbon on there. I will look that medal up you mentioned. Thanks a bunch for the help! Im further along than I was 20 minutes ago.
leej11, this is the type of ribbon which should be on your 4 year long service medal, albeit a replacement, shown on an Imperial 12 year long service medal.
Here are a couple of Ostvolk medals with swords with different ribbons. Not sure which is the correct one

Looks like you were right. It looks like Ostvolks 2 klasse silber. As always I will leave as is. Thanks for the help.Case closed
