Ärmelband Afrika

Hi guys!

I became this Afrika cuff title along other orders & decorations from a friend (EK2, Afrika medal, Wound Badge).

These medals are original without a doubt but no one was able to proof the cuff title by 100%. Some say "yep it is" other say "no way".

UV lamp test is negative. No reaction. Material will be silk, I think.
Maybe it's something uncommon and rare?

I hope the photos are good enough to take a decision.

Length is ca. 45cm.
Width is ca. 35-36mm.

It's the second pattern campaign honor type . Not a real big fan of the lettering but please wait for other opinions . Welcome to the Forum I hope you'll enjoy your time here .

Nice looking Cuff title but I'm not convinced that it is pre 1945.
I have seen a few of these produced post war for veteran meetings.

Not for my collection I'm afraid

That is correct. In 10 pages of links to the Afrika Armelband there is not a single genuine one that matches yours. That alone should tell you something.
