I think I'm right in saying the only Kriegsmarine badge Assmann made was the Minesweeper and they're quite hard to find compared to some others.
Assmann only made these in tombak and they were always marked. They have a unique pin and hinge and are fairly easy to identify from this.
So here is the latest addition to my slowly growing collection of Minesweeper badges........

Is it just me or does this variant seem a lot lighter in color than most?

Cheers Mo, it is slightly lighter, the finish on these badges varies alot from maker to maker.
