The von Arent sketch appeared in books dating back to the early 1960s.

Note how the original Balkan would have been about the same size as a Cholm.

Smaller than the usual Balkan repros.

Makes me wonder if the Warsaw would also have been Cholm-sized if it had been produced.

The Warsaw shown above is one of the early Souval copies based on the original von Arent artwork.
