I don't study these but quality and hardware looks pretty poor to me. I would start a new thread instead of attaching it to an old thread.

It lacks the crispness of an original, post war copy I'm afraid.

After looking at some vetted originals the scales of the snake are off. Originals do not jump out at you.

The badge is a poor quality reproduction. The reverse, the hinge, catch, and pin are not 3rd Reich production. The front details of the badge are completely off. On top of all of that originals are made of zinc.
