Just for a comparison in price, I am in the US and was offered one at $1000 with a lifetime guarantee from a 50 year collector. There may be a big price difference on separate parts of the pond however.

While I have not actively looked, when I have seen them on full blown dealer sites, I don't think I have seen a decent example under $2.5k......am I crazy wrong????
