Air ace Josef Jacobs also wore an official 1957 S&L PLM in his later years.
He's seen here in 1976. The two PLMs are from his estate.
The 50th anniversary Blue Max on the left (with Crown) dates from 1967. It was totally unofficial, based on a wartime Godet, and was presented to Jacobs by Theo Osterkamp, head of the PLM vets' association.
BACK ON TOPIC !!
