Yes, the MutterKreuz is one of my favourite awards too. I think that many people like the colouration that the medals were designed with. The beautiful blue/purple contrasrs very nicely with the enamel off-white border. The bronze class has to be my favourite of the three.

Very true, but for me the gold/white/blue of the 1st class takes the cake. If even my wife says she likes a TR award it must surely be a pretty one!

It's funny that someone can be a Nazi party member for 25 years and then denazify his medal for it. When you have been a member for that long, you would think that it wouldn't matter anymore.

All of your medals look fantastic, guys. I have two loose 25-years. I almost picked up a cased 40 at the MAX show, but I got a little distracted. Such is one's experience at that show... lol

Hi Mo, no, remember these were Long Service Medals for civil employees, NOT Nazi Party Long service medals.
