Cased 40 yrs Service Medal Treuedienst-Ehrenzeichen

Have been going through a dry spell for a while since my wife started taking note of what these items cost, BUT this one slipped through today without her seeing.

The case has some damage, but the cross looks great. Now I need a nice cased 25 year medal.

Looks good Tom, shame about the minor damage to the case but it doesn't detract too much. Is the ribbon faded on the obverse as the photos suggest?

That's a nice set up Jay, will have to wait a bit first though.
Mike, I have a 50 yrs one, but very, very shabby. Probably ground dug. The cased ones go for big bucks.
Adrian, the obverse side of ribbon is indeed more faded. Does not suggest wear, merely being displayed in an open case IMO.
