I too like Ralph do not study these awards..I would agree with you the box is suspicious looking compared to the example on collectors guild. I am afraid even for those that are familiar with these high profile and expensive awards better pictures will be needed. The medal you posted definitely has some zinc pest issue which further detracts of the finer details of the award. I'm posting images of awards I obtained on waf for comparison. I do believe there's a tell with the suspension ring loop atop The medal as they photographed that area intently. The badge was deemed original btw on waf. Hope someone more knowledgeable comes along soon best regards.
