Default Demjansk shield real or fake opinions please?

Hello all, I'm new to the forum. I just picked up a Demjansk shield from a fellow collector who purchased a sizeable vet estate. I'm new to the medals and decorations field as I normally collect trench art rings. The shield is magnetic, and has slight rust spotting. Any opinions on authenticity would be appreciated!

Sorry, I have no idea how to rotate the pics. They are right side up in my gallery.

Ralph you are my hero! You're going to have to tell me how to do that trick so I can post more pics! Anyone have any thoughts on this one? Any opinions are appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum DAK,

The shield is a good type 4.5 by a so far unknown maker. As for posting pic's in the correct orientation, follow the instructions here:

It worked for me and many others that post on the forum.
