Nick, when you've had a few more glasses of wine, can we possibly discuss the sale of your DK?

Cheers/Prost!!!

Are there any list available of the recipients of the award? It would be nice to research this further! Thanks again for all you expertise!!
Sam
Checked the DKiG Winner list and no Udo Panter is recorded !

I'd agree with Nick about the engraving Sam. In much the same way as some dealers will add a name to the liner to bump up the price of a helmet, often we see awards defaced by some form of crude implement. It would be quite easy to dirty it up a bit inside the grooves too, in an attempt to match the wear with other slightly damaged parts of the piece, i.e. surface scratches. For the life of me though, I could never do that to an award as nice as this one.
Regards,
Carl
p.s. And as Paul has just confirmed, Herr Panter was awarded the DK. Good news!
