Have you asked emedals about the inscription and if they think it's genuine? The cross is good but if we can prove the name is a post war addition it may give you some room to manoeuvre on the price?

As the blushing has started to fade, I will post again...
Personally, I wouldn't buy it. In my opinion, it is a shame that somebody has done that to the award. If Udo Panter had been recorded, then I would buy it. It is still a nice piece though...

I have requested that they provide documentation on Udo Panter receiving the medal. If they do not I will offer a much lower price! Thanks again for all your input and suggestions! I am also attending a gun and knife show this weekend, which I know if full of fakes..........So look for more posts on Sunday!!
