beautiful.
beautiful.
There was a collector in the Chicago area, now deceased, who had two of these. He bought the first from a veteran and the second from a veteran who served with the owner of the first one. He bought them both for $100.00 over the value of the brilliants. This of course was many years ago. I never understood why he kept them as he had them in a safety deposit box and never brought them out!

LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
I have no words, it was all said, I can only write the following:
Dear Santa Claus,
My name is Von River, I am 39 years old and I live in Oporto Portugal, which is a very long way from the North Pole.
I have tried to be good all year and hope that you and your reindeers will be able to deliver me a nice present. At the moment my special toy is a "Deutsche Kreuz mit Brillanten" to play with next year!
I will leave you some cookies next to our Christmas Tree and there will also be some carrots for Rudolf.
Love from
Von River
Hmm...I just received this note from somebody signed "S.C."...I think it was meant for you,Von River....
"Request....Denied! Coal for you Again, River!"
