    Nice pick up! There's just something about these big Crosses that impress a person. I remember hearing stories of men wearing them being taken prisoner and treated like celebrities while Knight's Cross winners were ignored, as the GI's figured the Crosses were certainly only given to someone "Big" and would get excited when they would capture someone with one!
