I have got to admit it is good.
Apart from the few variations that Ned mentions which i have never really noticed if this one came along with a collection I would have been fooled by this one.
The swastika backing cloth I would have taken as a variation and that twisted thread work on both the grey and aluminium cord would have had me.

Hi Doug, tough call was this one. Now I will tell to the seller that his Badge is no good. Will wait for Ned s comment, guess it will be something like:
Somewhere around Ned's lower estimate and i'll pick up the fees and postage Juan.
Tell him all I want it for is to deconstruct it to it's component parts.
Look at the squashed nose of the '4' in 1941, that alone kills any chance. With these new pic's it's a one look fake.
