    Catch looks like a post war Souval "cut-out" one to me.( need to see better back photos to be sure )

    It's a good late war Deschler 'Light' in my eyes. The rivets, pin and catchplate are correct for this type that is considerably lighter than other '1s' from earlier in the war. I think it's a pretty rare version compared to other Deschler DK's as not as many of this type were produced. Having said that, it doesn't equate to a greater value at all. I would say that it appears re-polished at sometime, certainly on the back anyway.

    The Souval type Dan refers to has different hollow rivets and pin, as well as a cut out catchplate that are distintive. The one above is not the same.
