    The ribbon is original. Most of these medals are court or parade mounted so they can be worn which is why I think Harry's estimate of value is nearer what I would pay for this example.
    A court mounted medal with eagle on the ribbon would be worth more IMO.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
