    That's an interesting and quite rare piece Klaus. These would normally have been thrown away once the awards were gone.

    What do you think were on there? I'm guessing a Panzerkampfabzeichen on the left and possibly an Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen?

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    That's just what I was thinking. You can see the ghost of the track at the 9 o'clock position on the left hand side and it also appears that a minature stickpin of each badge may have been just to the right of both.

    Looks like the card also carried the stickpin awards as well

    Thanks for the comments! Yes, I agree: Tank Assault & General Assault as well as their miniatures.

    Stamp translation for Nick ;-)

    In short: Someone giving this board to a competitor or using it in a "wrong way" will have to pay damages.
