Thanks Steve, I have seen so many of these and each having different maker marks, I was just curious about these, and since they were with my WW2 items just curious about the makers, and how the Vet got ahold of them, but that I many never know.

These are one of the most common and least expensive
medals of the TR era, but the black one is not
as common as the bronze types.

Thanks again Steve, just an FYI in my album, here on the site, the suit of armor that I am wearing is from Valentine Armories in Calgary, in Canada, actually I have been to B.C. twice, town called Chilliwack. Although the armory is no longer is business, Rob is doing other things now.
