Here are some variants in this thread to give you some thing to search for.
Ehrenkreuz der Deutsche Mutter Zweite Stufe, Smaller Spange
And another here.
Ehrenkreuz der Deutsche Mutter Zweite Stufe, Miniatue Pin Back
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
Sorry Ralph I didn't see this reply - thanks a lot for the tips - the Smaller Spange one looks very nice!
Nice to see a bronze with its original packet. The packet should have a maker mark on the back. From the smaller pictures in the bottom image it looks like it does, but it's too small to be able to make out.
My only regret with my own bronze cross; that I didn't wait for one like this!
B.B.
I know what you mean BB - I did think of just buying a normal one without packet but I heeded your advice and was actually looking at miniatures when that one came up! The makers mark is Jakob Bengel
The silver is a nicer cross to have.
Bronze Packet is Jakob Bengel
