Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter

Hi everyone,

I came into a set of Mother's Crosses and would like any opinions on how they look? Just wondering in particular about the size of the "U" on the Bronze Cross at the 12 'o clock position, seems a bit out of sink with the other letters? Is this normal or a known issue?

Cant see what you mean about the U cant realy help if you dont even turn youre picture's the right way.

A dirty or worn die. That's all. The letter "d" shows a similar effect.

No, these grades only came in paper packets.

Hi Ade,
did the first issue silver cross with Kind Adelt die Mutter on the back come in a box with the silver cross embossed on the top?
I have a vague recollection that I have seen one in the past.
